OUR TEMPLE

Search for Truth and Spiritual Growth

Hinduism encourages individuals to understand themselves, the world, and the deeper truth of existence.

Respect for All Forms of Life

It is rooted in compassion, non-violence, and reverence for all living beings.

Harmony Between Human, Nature, and the Divine

It emphasizes balance and interconnectedness between the inner self, the natural world, and higher reality.

A Way of Life

Hinduism is among the oldest living spiritual traditions in the world. It is not defined by a single founder, doctrine, or book, but by a continuous flow of wisdom refined over thousands of years.

Rather than demanding belief, it invites inner exploration and personal experience of truth. At its core lies the understanding that all existence arises from one ultimate reality, often called Brahman, and that the soul (Atman) is inherently divine. Human life is seen as a sacred opportunity to grow in awareness, responsibility, and compassion.

THE FIRST HINDU TEMPLE IN SLOVENIA

In 2026, the Hindu community in Slovenia is beginning a historic project: the construction of the first Hindu temple in the wider region.

The temple will serve as a spiritual center for the Hindu community, as well as a place for prayer and meditation. At the same time, it will play an important role as a cultural center, fostering interfaith dialogue and offering education on Hindu philosophy.

It will be open to community members, visitors, researchers, and all those interested in India’s spiritual traditions.

The construction of the temple is a collective effort of the community and all friends of the Hindu tradition.
